TRANSFER BETWEEN TERMINALS: There is a shuttle service between the terminals.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: The airport lies on the Rodovia do Aeroporto, off the Eixao (Sul) highway and 15km (9 miles) south of Brasilia city centre
CAR PARKING: Long- and short-term parking is available for 800 cars in the airport car park, which is located within easy walking distance of the terminal.
CAR HIRE: Car hire companies include Disbrave, Hertz, Interlocadora, Localiza, Locarauto and Unidas.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Road: Taxi: Taxis are available 24 hours a day. They are the easiest and fastest way to get to the city centre (journey time: 15 minutes). Bus: Bus no.102 runs to the bus station in the centre of Brasilia (journey time: 30 minutes). Microbuses no.30 and no.11 run from the airport to the bus station in the centre of Brasilia. All transport to the city centre can be accessed directly outside the terminal building after baggage reclaim.
INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS: The information desk is situated inside the Departures hall and offers tourist information, as well as a range of leaflets, maps and brochures. There is also a touch-screen information terminal
AIRPORT FACILITIES : Money and communications: There are two banks, six ATMs and a post office at the airport. The bureau de change is located at the Banco de Brasil. Eating and drinking: The restaurant is open 1100-2300 daily. In addition, there are a variety of snack bars, two of which are open 24 hours. Shopping: Shops at the airport include a music shop, gift shops and bookshops. Luggage: A left-luggage facility is available. Other facilities: There is a first aid station and a travel agent at the airport.
CONFERENCE AND BUSINESS FACILITIES: There is a VIP lounge at the airport. The post office (open 24 hours) has telephones and fax machines for business use, although there are no conference facilities at the airport. The Plaza Convention in the hotel sector in the centre of Brasilia consists of two hotels (the four-star Manhattan Plaza and the five-star Kubitschek Plaza), which both have full conference facilities, including rooms seating between 35 and 219 people. DISABLED FACILITIES: The airport is equipped with TTDs, disabled toilets, lifts and ramps. Assistance is available and wheelchairs can be provided. Passengers should contact the information desk inside the Departures hall for assistance. There are first aid and medical facilities available (including Yellow Fever vaccinations) 24 hours a day in Arrivals.

Hotels located in the city’s hotel sector include the five-star Kubitschek Plaza (tel: (0)61 319 3530), the four-star Eron (tel: (0)61 329 4000), the four-star Manhattan Plaza (tel: (0)61 319 3544), the four-star Torre Palace (tel: (0)61 328 5554), the three-star Casablanca (tel: (0)61 328 8586) and the three-star Plaza Bittar (tel: (0)61 328 7077). Another popular hotel is the Blue Tree Park (tel: (0)61 424 7000) on the Paranoa Lake, 12km (7 miles) from the airport, which is popular with both leisure and business travellers for its excellent facilities and convention centre.

TRANSFER BETWEEN TERMINALS: The two terminals are linked by a travelator.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: The airport is connected to Rio de Janeiro by two major roads, Linha Vermelha and Avenida Brasil. The airport is signposted on both roads.
CAR PARKING: Multi-storey and covered car parks are available at the airport.
CAR HIRE: Avis, Hertz and Localiza are all represented at the airport; their desks can be found in Terminal 1.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Road: Bus and taxi are the most hassle-free ways to travel into Rio. Taxi: Taxis are available, although visitors are advised to ignore the RDE taxi desk and go to the Rio de Janeiro State Tourism Authority desk instead and buy prepaid taxi vouchers. Otherwise, passengers should ensure that their taxi’s meter is cleared of the last fare. Bus: There is an airport shuttle bus every hour which stops at major hotels and beaches. Empresa Real have air-conditioned frescao buses that drive into the city as well as along the seafront stopping off at the hotels (journey time: 45 minutes). Public buses run to the city centre.
INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS: Infraero information counters can be found on the second floor of the blue sector in Terminal 1 and on the Departures floor in Terminal 2. Computerized information screens are available in Terminal 2.
AIRPORT FACILITIES: Money and communications: Terminal 1 has a range of banks, bureau de change facilities and a post office. Eating and drinking: There are restaurants in Terminal 1 and a wide variety of restaurants and cafés in the central commercial area in Terminal 2. Shopping: There are shops in Terminal 1 and in the central commercial area in Terminal 2. Other facilities: There is a pharmacy and a small 24-hour hospital in Terminal 1.
CONFERENCE AND BUSINESS FACILITIES: Conference and business facilities are available at the Luxor Hotel (tel: (0)21 2468 8998) which is located at the airport.
DISABLED FACILITIES: Lifts, automatic doors, adapted telephones and toilets are provided for disabled people. Disabled car parking spaces are also available.

TRANSFER BETWEEN TERMINALS: The two terminals are situated close enough together for passengers to access them on foot.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: To reach the airport, take either the Ayrton Senna or Presidente Dutra highway.
CAR PARKING: Long- and short-term parking is available at the airport.
CAR HIRE: Companies represented at the airport include Avis, Budget, Hertz, Interlocadora, Localiza and Unidas.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Road: Taxi: Prepaid radio taxis serve the terminals. Bus: The airport bus connects with Congonhas Domestic Airport and the city centre, there is also an executive city bus for which tickets should be purchased in advance on the Arrivals floor. There is also a shuttle minibus service which runs to the city centre (journey time to the city centre: 30-50 minutes for all methods of transport).
INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS: There are tourist information desks (tel: (0)11 6445 2380 or 6445 4029) on the Arrivals floor of Terminals 1 and 2 and there are also two Infraero information counters in both terminals. Other facilities: First aid facilities and pharmacies are located in both terminals.
CONFERENCE AND BUSINESS FACILITIES: Business facilities (telephone, fax machines and computers) are available on the Departures floor of the administration building (fax: (0)11 6445 3173 or 6412 3335). As well as VIP lounges, there are two conference rooms that can each accommodate 80-100 people.
DISABLED FACILITIES: Facilities for disabled travellers include ramped access and lifts, adapted toilets and telephones.
