Accommodation

Resorts - Hotels - Bed & Breakfast - Youth Hostels - Jungle Lodges - Apartments

Visitors to Brazil can choose from an extremely wide range of accommodation, from hostels, Self contained apartments, Jungle lodges, Bed & Breakfast, budget 2 star hotels that cost less than $30 per night, to luxurious 5 star hotel presidential suites for over $2000 per night.

You tend to get what you pay for when it comes to hotels in Brazil. The location of the hotel will also effect the price, so if you want an ocean front hotel, you have to pay extra for it.

In the major cities such as Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, expect to pay at least $470 a night for a standard double in a deluxe hotel; $350 in a five-star hotel; $100 - $150 for three- or four-star accommodation. Most hotels accept the major credit cards (American Express, Diners, Mastercard and Visa).

Pousadas – small, privately run hotels – are another excellent option, forming the accommodation backbone in the historic towns of the interior of in most of the small towns on the coast.

Located on world famous Copacabana beach, the Rio de Janeiro guesthouse is located in an art deco apartment with 6 suites. The guesthouse includes panoramic views of Copacabana beach, Sugarloaf and Fort Copacabana and possibly the best location in Rio for New Year’s Eve. The guesthouse offers travellers an experience that is highly personal with the comfort of a 4-5* hotel, without some of the normal additional surcharges and room service fees associated with this level of service

The Rio de Janeiro guesthouse includes a terrace of over 100 square meters, with an emphasis on comfort, relaxed living, in an ambience of fine antiquities and friendly Brazilian hospitality. This is accomodation for those seeking comfortable and affordable travel experiences rather than budget style tourist accomodation.

Bed and breakfast in Santa Teresa

Rio de Janeiro — Brazil

Your Bed and Breakfast in Rio de Janeiro

Vila CasaNova is a small guest house with Bed and Breakfast amenities in the cozy atmosphere of a quite residential street in Santa Teresa, a historical neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro.

The house is a charming four-floor rustic eighties construction where bricks and concrete contrast with nature and a wide view of the green and the city center.

We are conveniently close to the center and Lapa, at only 10 minutes from Corcovado, in a place from where you can easily reach the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, the Sugar Loaf, the Maracanã football stadium and the Sambódromo where the great carnival parade happens.

Our B & B is also only a walking distance from the local commerce with its shops, restaurants, cafes and a cool bohemian nightlife.
